Your Next Sales Challenge: Go Where the Opportunity Is. Build Momentum. Close.

Are you the sales professional teams call when they need results? Lifespace Communities is looking for a high-performing Sales Specialist who can step into our communities, quickly build relationships, strengthen the sales pipeline, and turn opportunities into move-ins.

This is not a traditional desk-based sales role. You'll work across Lifespace communities, partnering with local and regional leaders to accelerate sales, improve occupancy, and close business. Every assignment brings a new market, a new team, and an opportunity to make an immediate impact.

Significant travel is a key part of this role. If you're energized by variety, love being in front of prospects, and have a track record of closing high-consideration sales, we want to talk with you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead with the prospect. Use a prospect-centered selling approach built around deep discovery, active listening, and understanding each prospect's unique motivations, priorities, concerns, and readiness to make a move.

  • Sell with purpose. Build trust, uncover emotional and practical barriers, connect individual needs to the right solutions, and confidently guide prospects toward a decision.

  • Build momentum. Effectively categorize and prioritize leads, re-engage prospects, generate new opportunities, and move prospects forward based on their individual readiness.

  • Drive results. Own sales activity, closing, move-in, occupancy, and revenue goals.

  • Make an immediate impact. Step into assigned communities, quickly assess the sales pipeline and opportunities, and provide hands-on selling support where it's needed most.

  • Create relationships that convert. Develop meaningful connections with prospects and families through personalized follow-up and ongoing engagement-not transactional selling.

  • Go beyond the sales office. Meet prospects where they are, including community events, referral relationships, networking opportunities, and other personalized interactions that deepen discovery and build trust.

  • Develop new business. Cultivate resident, family, professional, and community referral relationships that generate qualified leads.

  • Partner with strong teams. Collaborate with Executive Directors, Regional Sales leadership, Operations, and community sales teams to execute strategies that produce results.

  • Know your pipeline. Maintain disciplined lead management, prospect categorization, follow-up, and CRM documentation to ensure opportunities continue moving forward.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

  • 5-8 years of successful sales and/or marketing leadership experience.

  • Senior living, retirement living, Life Plan Community/CCRC, or other high-consideration relationship-based sales experience strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success using prospect-centered, consultative, or relationship-based selling techniques.

  • Experience supporting multiple communities, locations, or markets preferred.

  • At least three years of experience executing successful business-development strategies.

  • Proven success with discovery, lead management, prospect development, presentations, follow-up, objection handling, and closing.

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively based on community and business needs.

Bring your sales expertise. Build meaningful relationships. Turn opportunity into occupancy.

As part of the hiring process and in accordance with Florida law, healthcare candidates who accept a job offer are required to complete a background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. This step is quick, secure, and helps us finalize your employment as smoothly as possible.
