They may work for market research firms, academic institutions, or businesses gathering customer insights. This role requires attention to detail, familiarity with survey platforms, and sometimes basic programming or data analysis skills.

What are the main challenges faced by CAWIs, and how can they be addressed?

CAWIs often encounter challenges such as low response rates, respondent reluctance, or technical issues with survey platforms. To overcome these, it's important to be persistent yet polite in follow-ups, offer clear instructions, and troubleshoot technical difficulties efficiently. Working closely with supervisors and technical teams can help resolve issues quickly, and ongoing training ensures familiarity with new technologies. Building rapport with participants also helps improve response quality and overall data accuracy. Embracing these strategies enables CAWIs to maintain productivity and deliver reliable results.
