Hyatt Regency Lost Pines is seeking a talented and experienced Advanced Level cook to deliver top-quality dishes that delight guests and elevate their experience at Stories Ranch Kitchen. Curated chapter by chapter, Stories Ranch Kitchen is a special farm-to-table dining experience inspired by the big cattle ranches and plentiful game of Central Texas, as well as the bounty of our region's farms. 

Your responsibilities go beyond the kitchen-you're not just preparing food, you're crafting flavors, ensuring presentation perfection, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency. You'll be at the forefront of culinary innovation, exploring new ingredients and mastering menu offerings to keep guests coming back for more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes with precision and creativity. 
  • Master every dish on the menu, while staying ahead of the latest food trends and market innovations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and refine existing ones.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks and stations efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and advanced culinary knowledge in high-pressure situations.
