Care Career is seeking a travel Cath Lab Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Thornton, Colorado.

Position Details

  • Position: Cath Lab Technician
  • Facility: HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge, Thornton, Colorado
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
  • Shift: Days, 6:45 AM – 4:15 PM

Schedule and Requirements

  • Day shift: 6:45 AM – 4:15 PM

Required Experience

  • Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Technician experience
  • Experience performing cardiac catheterization procedures in an acute care setting

Required Certifications

  • BLS
  • ARRT (R)
  • RCIS or RCES
  • If certified with RCIS or RCES, must obtain Colorado Fluoroscopy Operator registration through DORA before starting

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Operate fluoroscopy equipment and maintain procedural imaging quality
  • Support procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostics and interventions, pacemaker and ICD procedures, cardioversions, TEE, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide emergency procedural support
  • Deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout Cath Lab procedures

Additional Information

  • EMR: Meditech
  • Preferred experience includes ARRT (CI) or ARRT (CV), monitoring, and holding area experience
