What is a Cath Lab Rad Tech?

A Cath Lab Rad Tech, or Catheterization Laboratory Radiologic Technologist, is a healthcare professional who operates imaging equipment to assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures. They are responsible for preparing patients, positioning them for imaging, and ensuring clear images are captured to help diagnose and treat heart conditions. Cath Lab Rad Techs also monitor patient safety, maintain sterile environments, and may assist with other interventional procedures in the lab.
