Job description

In-Store Sales Representative – Juneau, AK

About the Role

As an In-Store Sales Representative at our Juneau, AK location, you will play a key role in driving sales growth within N C Machinery’s existing customer base. Through proactive telephone outreach and strong relationship management, you will identify opportunities, strengthen customer partnerships, and contribute to overall business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop targeted customer strategies and support lead generation efforts, ensuring timely follow-up on sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned key accounts to drive engagement and repeat business.
  • Conduct outbound customer calls to meet or exceed established contact and performance goals.
  • Prepare and present customer sales quotes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Represent N C Machinery at customer events, industry functions, and related activities as needed.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient use of CRM tools.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Caterpillar products and prior experience in Caterpillar sales or related industries preferred (construction, agriculture, or heavy equipment).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation for occasional travel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
