The Main Responsibilities of a Chick-fil-A Catering Leader:
  • Giving customers and amazing experience each and every time they cater with our restaurant
  • Planning food menus in consultation with different types of customers (Businesses, schools, churches, and family events)
  • Preparing food for various corporate events, school events, church events, and family events
  • Transporting food from our restaurant location to and from various event locations using our Chick-fil-A vehicles
  • Managing phone calls and being of service to our customers needs and requests
  • Must be flexible on availability Monday-Saturday (closed on Sundays) and able to carry a business cell phone after hours
Catering Leader Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic, mature, and qualified catering leader with multiple years of experience with a reputable organization. One must have a proven track record of success in catering and have recommendations on file from other businesses. We need an individual who is motivated to learn our Chick-fil-A processes and systems, and eventually take over our catering food service duties to businesses, schools, churches, and family events. We are searching for a future leader that can advise customers of our delicious food menu items and try to meet the needs of our customers.

The catering leader working with us must be able to prepare food in a clean kitchen area and comply with all the company and local government health and safety regulations . One must also be able to transport food to and from various venues using our Chick-fil-A vehicles, as well as manage all the food-serving areas and clean up after drop off.

The catering leader must exhibit outstanding customer service skills. The catering leader we hire must always meet our customers' needs and expectations, as well as attend to all the potential customer complaints in a professional and friendly manner.

Daily Responsibilities of a Catering Leader:
  • Coordinating food menu items and requests according to customer needs and expectations
  • Preparing food in a healthy and clean kitchen environment
  • Consulting with customers about any details or potential changes before any event
  • Transporting food to and from venues
  • Dropping off to various food-serving areas at venues
  • Cleaning food-serving areas after drop off
  • Making sure all catering supplies are well-organized and stocked
  • Knowing all the food ingredients and safety label information of our products
  • Providing excellent customer service one customer at a time
  • Reports directly to the Franchise Owner and restaurant Directors
Catering Leader Job Requirements:
  • Extensive catering experience with a reputable organization and a proven track record of success.
  • Must be over 25 years of age, have a valid AL drivers license, and a spotless criminal and driving record
  • College education with a completed Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not a requirement. We are hiring for experience and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent food preparation skills for every order
  • A certificate in ServSafe or culinary arts is preferred, but not a requirement
  • Great attention to detail, well organized, and an ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • A friendly and positive attitude every day
  • Desire to work well with leaders and team members
