Job Title: Admin / Cook – Food Services

Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Admin / Cook to support food service operations at the Army’s Hunter Army Airfield dining facility located at Hunter Army Airfield. This position combines culinary responsibilities with administrative support duties, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in both food service and office operations.

The Admin / Cook will divide time between kitchen production and administrative support functions as needed to support daily dining facility operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Culinary Duties:

  • Prepare entrées, side dishes, and other menu items in accordance with standardized recipes and production schedules
  • Assist with food preparation, serving, and kitchen organization
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with stocking, inventory, and cleaning responsibilities

Administrative Duties:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to management staff
  • Assist with data entry, filing, scheduling, and document preparation
  • Support reporting, record keeping, and other office-related tasks as assigned
  • Communicate professionally with team members and management
  • Assist with special projects and operational support as needed

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Pay: $20.71 per hour
  • Health & Welfare (H&W) Pay in Lieu of Benefits: $4.93 per hour for employees who opt out of company-sponsored insurance
  • Total Compensation: $25.64 per hour*
