Job description

FULLBEAUTY Brands™ is the premier fashion and lifestyle destination for the plus size customer. We are an online and catalog marketplace offering a curated collection of the finest family of plus size brands and thousands of products.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Print Designer will support the design team and contribute to the creation, development, and execution of artworks appropriate for the brand customer.

They will own the full artwork design process including market research, color research, print adjustment, s/off and color approval. Work closely with the design team and cross-functional partners to ensure a cohesive product line is realized and the desired outcome is achieved.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with Design Leadership to create original print artwork that supports and elevates the overall design vision and brand storytelling.
  • Collaborate on trend forecasting by researching and interpreting fashion, color, and cultural trends to inform seasonal print direction.
  • Design and execute prints across a range of product categories and seasonal collections.
  • Own the print development process from initial concept through strike-off approval.
  • Develop artwork through both hand-painted and digital techniques, maintaining a high level of creativity and technical precision.
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently, refining designs to deliver final, print-ready artwork.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to seasonal calendars and key milestones.
  • Communicate clearly with factories and vendors regarding print execution, color standards, and production comments.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging techniques, and cultural influences to continuously inspire fresh, relevant designs.
  • Oversee print production to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency meet brand standards.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and evolving project needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to support quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or production challenges to ensure final output meets or exceeds expectations.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years working in fashion designing, styling and reworking prints and patterns.
  • Experience developing original textile prints.
  • Must be proactive in bringing workable prints to the table.
  • Must have strong color sense and be able to clean, separate, create repeats and colorways.
  • Technically skilled in designing elevated patterns for usage across departments.
  • Strong understanding of color libraries, color matching and brand palette adherence
  • Understand product specifications, industry printing standards, processes and creating pitch sheets.
  • Excellent hand sketching and/or CAD skills in Illustrator and/or Photoshop.
  • Bachelor’s degree in fine art, Illustration, or Textile Design is required
