Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
Location: Le Sueur/Montrose
Compensation: Total Salary $100,000-$160,000 (Base pay 2/3; commission 1/3 of pay)
Commission: Structure based on sales performance

The Company:
Le Sueur Incorporated("LSI"), a portfolio company of Delos Capital, and a leading supplier of complex aluminum castings, machined castings, and plastic injection molded components.
Craft, based in Montrose, MN, is a rapid prototyping and complex metal and plastics component manufacturer.
The Position:
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth across the aluminum, iron, and plastic injection manufacturing sectors by identifying new business opportunities and promoting the company's capabilities in metal casting and plastic injection molding. This role focuses on expanding the company's presence in various industry segments, including commercial heavy-duty truck, agriculture, marine, and other related markets.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities
  • Make sales contacts & research customer needs
  • Travel to meet with prospective clients including overnight stays
  • Follow up on sales leads and make cold calls to potential customers required
  • Present and demonstrate company products/services tailored to the customer's needs.
  • Build long-term customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support.
  • Collaborate with estimators at both LSI and Craft to determine accurate pricing and terms within company guidelines
  • Record and track all customer interactions, opportunities, and activities using CRM software
  • Stay informed of industry developments, competitor activity, and emerging market trends
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry networking events as needed

Education & Experience Requirements:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent years of proven sales experience in the outside sales position, or combination of schooling & experience. 5-7 years in outside sales
Preferred: Bachelor or Master's degree plus 7-10 years in sales, with a minimum of 5 years in outside sales. Experience in Aluminum & Iron Casting sales. Knowledge of CNC machining, Plastic mold injection, & Prototyping is a plus.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of outside sales practices and principles, with a proven track record in B2B sales
  • Strong understanding of casting products and processes (aluminum, iron, plastic injection), and familiarity with industry-specific customer bases
  • Proficiency in word processing, basic spreadsheet and database functions, and experience working with ERP systems
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers, team members, and management
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong mathematical and reasoning abilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all customer and company interactions
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
