Location: Statesboro, GA
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM |2nd Shift: Sunday - Wednesday, 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM

The Die Cast Operator is responsible for producing aluminum cast components used in small engine manufacturing. This role involves operating die cast machinery, handling molten materials, and ensuring parts meet quality and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate die cast machines to produce aluminum parts according to production standards
  • Load raw materials and monitor machines during operation
  • Remove finished castings and trim excess material (flash) as needed
  • Perform visual and basic quality inspections on parts
  • Maintain production pace to meet daily output goals
  • Follow all safety guidelines when working with high-temperature materials
  • Keep work area clean and organized to support a safe environment
  • Report any machine malfunctions or safety concerns immediately

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment (hot conditions)
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as required

Work Environment

  • High-heat environment due to molten aluminum and furnaces
  • Exposure to loud noise; hearing protection required
  • Requires use of PPE including steel toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing
