Job description

Future Opening: Outside Sales Representative

The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations for a target audience within the Funeral Industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business within the funeral industry
  • Ability to effectively implement cold calling / onsite drop offs of brochures/catalogs
  • Effectively demonstrate product line of caskets and
  • Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas

Qualifications/Ideals:

  • Funeral Industry experience including casket sales knowledge
  • 2+ years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Ability to operate a vehicle
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
