Job description

Our Ticket Writers deliver an outstanding service which exceeds our guest's expectations and actively promotes Spokane Tribe Casino. They are experts in our innovative range of betting offers and they actively communicate these to our guests. They are aware of and contribute to Sportsbook action plans and take pride in knowing who our guests are and how our processes work.


  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of Casino.
  • Writes tickets and processes cash winning tickets.
  • Handles guest questions and disputes.
  • Counts cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Ensure all guests, whether regular or infrequent, are made to always feel welcome.
  • Carry out engaging conversations and provide friendly service to guests.
  • Show patience with guests who do not wager regularly; take the time to explain how wagering works.
  • Committed to always working in a compliant environment in the Sportsbook and adhere to Gaming Control Board reporting requirements.
  • Calls for MTL support when writing bets requiring MTL paperwork.
  • Adhere to Uniform Policy and always ensures good standard of personal presentation.
  • Anticipate and act on the needs of the guest, seek and respond to feedback.
  • Ensure all issues effecting the guest experience in the sports book are reported promptly.
  • Undertake additional tasks contributing to the operations of the sports book, as requested.
  • Perform other tasks assigned.

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Guest service experience preferred but not required.
  • Genuinely interested in working with and helping guests.
  • Excellent communication skills.
