  • Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties for the Security and Valet Department for which this position is responsible.       
  • Responsible for Security Officers and First Responders on assigned shift.
  • Works closely with the Security Manager and Supervisors to ensure compliance with company policies and all local, state and federal statues and gaming regulations.
  • Ensures complete and proper documentation of all incidents.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license in your state of residence and maintain a clean driving record. Must have driver's license on their person at all times.
  • Monitors and investigates all irregularities.
  • Documents all incidents.  Completes follow-up reports stating final disposition.
  • Has access to Player Services, Table Games podium, and Count Room.
  • Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
  • Performs any and all duties as assigned by your Manager or a member of management.

  • Supervisory experience preferred.  Knowledge of casino security preferred but will train. 
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Knowledge of basic computer operations as well as Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of basic scanner operations and photography software helpful.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit.  Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course. 
  • Must have good written and oral communications skills. Must have previous security and/or law enforcement experience and previous experience in investigations and report writing.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team regularly required to talk or hear. The team member is frequently required to walk. The team member is occasionally required to stand; sit and taste or smell. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of weight.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  Occasional loud music in casino lobby and entertainment complex.
