Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide prompt, courteous beverage service to guests in the Casino and restaurant outlets, ensuring a high-quality guest experience while following company procedures and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area. This is a tipped position.

Shift differentials of $1.00/hour extra for 4:00 p.m.- midnight and $2.00/hour extra for midnight - 8:00 a.m. We also offer a generous benefit package with Health, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Employee Discounts, Paid Time Off, Vacation, and 401k - with a company match. This position does get tips on top of the hourly pay!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prepares beverage cart with beverages for guests.

Take orders from patrons for beverages.

Serve beverages to patrons.

Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their beverages and take action to correct any problems.

Collect payments from customers for alcoholic beverages.

Perform cleaning duties, such as wiping down and cleaning beverage machines, and tidying up server station areas. Clean tables, server stations, and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas.

Monitor and stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, sugar, stir sticks, cream, pop, iced tea, cups, lids and straws.

  • Set and reset tables, roll silverware, and prepare dining areas

Provide guests with general information about casino including drink, bar, and food specials.

Complete end of shift duties including stocking of service areas, clean and wash beverage cart, coffee pots and pop pitchers.

Follow Casino and department policies and procedures, including all safety and service procedures; adhere to the Prairie's Edge Chain of Command.

Support the Vision and Mission Statement's of Prairie's Edge Casino Resort.

All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience:3 plus months of experience in Serving and customer service

Other: Must pass a State and Federal background check and a pre-employment drug screening that includes THC testing
