Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Coordinator to join our Finance & Accounting team at our Assumption, IL facility. The ideal candidate will The Credit Coordinator help support the day-to-day activities of the accounts receivable and credit function. This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and interested in building a foundation in accounting or finance.
Your Impact

  • Daily Cash Posting
  • Manage discrepancies related to customer payments
  • Obtain and manage sales tax certificates on our third-party portal
  • Process customer credits related to returns, co-ops, tax etc.
  • Field any inbound customer related inquiries
  • Assist with compiling documentation during audits
  • Cover the front desk welcome and receptionist duties, as needed
Your Experience and Qualifications
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, administrative support, or customer service preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to learn ERP or accounting systems quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills

Your Compensation and Benefits
Expected salary for this role will be $18 - $20 per hour, plus eligible for an annual bonus. This is dependent upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills.
