This position will be fully remote. 

The Cash Applications Specialist initiates and implements all aspects of the daily, weekly and monthly cash reconciliation process. Essential job functions include:

  • Verifies and posts accounts receivable transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
  • Analyzes general ledger to ensure reconciliation with detail ledger or supporting schedule.
  • Maintains and reconciles general ledger accounts pertaining to accounts receivable.
  • Receives, deposits, and posts all checks to the accounting system.
  • Sorts and files documents after posting.
  • Follows established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc.
  • Utilizes computerized accounting and billing software programs.
  • Responsible for preparing daily cash flow analysis and monthly reconciliation documents.
  • Maintains telephone and personal contact with clients, attorneys and staff on accounts receivable matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:

  • State of California: $50,000 - $103,000
  • State of Colorado: $47,000 - $83,000
  • State of Illinois: $46,000 - $89,000
  • State of Massachusetts: $50,000 - $97,000
  • State of Maryland: $49,000 - $74,000
  • State of Maine: $34,000 - $79,000
  • State of Minnesota: $50,000 - $84,000
  • Jersey City, NJ: $55,000 - $99,000
  • State of New York: $47,000 - $102,000
  • State of Virginia: $33,000 - $96,000
  • State of Vermont: $50,000 - $96,000
  • State of Washington: $49,000 - $93,000
  • Washington, D.C.: $65,000 - $96,000

The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
