The Team You Will Join
Lifestyle Communities' (LC) Investment Management team is a strategic partner for LC's vertically integrated companies. The team specializes in underwriting, monitoring, and reporting on the organization's performance and use of capital and has a significant role in the raising of and optimization of the company's capital structure.
Who You Are
As the Intern, Investment Management, you will support the team by assisting with financial analysis, research, and reporting activities that contribute to LC's investment strategies. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real estate finance, capital planning, and portfolio analytics while helping you build foundational skills in financial modeling, research, and cross-functional collaboration
The Difference You Will Make
  • Assists in preparing basic financial analysis and modeling, including operating proformas, cash flow summaries, and performance metrics.
  • Supports market research efforts by gathering data on rent and sale comps, demographics, and real estate fundamentals.
  • Helps compile information for long-term strategic operating and capital planning.
  • Assists with preparing materials used for internal reporting and external stakeholder communications.
  • Supports the Finance team with data collection and preparation of materials for investor reporting, compliance, and board-related updates.
  • Participates in the review of historical and prospective acquisition and development opportunities by gathering and organizing financial inputs.
  • Collaborates with asset management, property management, development, construction, accounting, and finance teams to support ongoing projects.
  • Completes other ad hoc analysis and project support as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • Coursework or internship experience in financial analysis, real estate, or investments is beneficial but not required.
