Summary of Position:
The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating compelling, consistent, and on-brand written content that supports marketing campaigns, sales enablement, brand awareness, and customer engagement. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, this role translates business objectives into clear, effective messaging across a variety of channels, including video, website, blog articles, case studies, email, social media, and internal platforms. This position plays a key role in shaping how we communicate the value of our services to current and prospective customers, with a focus on quality, clarity, and alignment with our overall brand and marketing strategy. The Content Marketing Specialist will work closely with team members to align content with broader visual and campaign initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in content creation, copywriting, or content marketing (B2B or technical industry preferred)
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills for technical and non-technical audiences, with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms
  • Experience writing for multiple formats (long-form, short-form, digital, video)
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
  • Proficiency with content management systems, email platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable working with subject matter experts to translate technical concepts into accessible messaging

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Write and edit marketing content for all Liberty business lines, including, but not limited to, emails, website pages, brochures, presentations, blogs, case studies, sell sheets, video scripts, and social posts.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns by developing content that aligns with campaign objectives and timelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to align messaging with overarching brand tone and corporate communications. Ensure content aligns with visual direction and campaign execution plans.
  • Work with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to identify needed content, understand technical information, and turn it into accessible, benefits-driven messaging that is accurate and informative.
  • Maintain and evolve our content library, ensuring accurate, updated, and well-organized materials.
  • Contribute to internal communications and support initiatives such as employee engagement, community relations, and event promotion.
  • Support SEO optimization through metadata, keyword placement, and structural best practices.
  • Assist in developing editorial calendars and campaign timelines.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics and provide insights to refine content strategy and improve ROI.
  • Conduct thorough copyediting and proofreading to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistent messaging.
  • Conduct research and evaluation to identify and assess key events for exhibition opportunities that align with organizational goals.
