Responsibilities:

  1. Is expected to be knowledgeable with current job descriptions of senior case managers and case managers, including work plans goals and objectives.
  2. Assist Social Service Director with approval of time records and request for leave.
  3. Oversees a team of case managers and a senior case manager with preparation of service/treatment plans and discharge plans.
  4. Recruiting, supervision, monitoring, and evaluating social services staff members to ensure they successfully perform routine daily, weekly, and periodic task.
  5. Cooperate with senior management for initial/renewal programmatic reports and proposals.

Qualifications: 

  • Baccalaureate degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field with 5-7 years of management.
  • Associate degree in human service or related field with 4+ years of direct social service supervisory experience.
  • Attention to detail, organized.
  • Knowledgeable of casework/case management methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable of the plight of the homeless and special needs population.
  • Commitment to the mission of the organization.
