Position Summary
The Case Manager / Career Coach supports participants in the DC TANF program by providing comprehensive case management, career coaching, education and training guidance, and barrier‑removal referrals. Case Managers maintain a caseload of 50–60 customers and are responsible for meeting monthly performance goals in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment. This position is in‑office, five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intakes, assessments, orientations, and motivational coaching
  • Develop individualized education, training, and employment plans
  • Monitor customer progress and maintain weekly outreach
  • Maintain accurate, compliant electronic case files and documentation
  • Enter and track data in company and funder databases
  • Prepare weekly and monthly caseload reports
  • Connect customers to community resources to address employment barriers
  • Build positive relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues
  • Home Visits - At least twice in the month
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Business, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in case management, workforce development, or social services
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and documentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with diverse populations with high barriers to employment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Results-driven, adaptable, and customer-focused
Pay Rate: $24.04/Hourly
