Job description

The Manager of Events & Brand Experiences is responsible for developing, planning, and executing special events, enhancing guest experiences, and fostering brand collaborations across Caruso’s diverse portfolio. This role encompasses event ideation, planning, budgeting, client service, account management, event logistics coordination, strategic brand alliances, and reporting. Working as an in-house events agency, this role services all departments and properties within the Caruso portfolio.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and manage Caruso Signature Events programming to boost foot traffic, drive targeted guests, capture new market shares, and increase sales across Caruso properties
  • Contribute to creating and executing unique property events and experiences aligned with property management and marketing initiatives
  • Maintains a strong retailer and client relationships through effective account and event management to foster repeat business
  • Collaborates cross-functionally, fostering innovative programs and effectively communicating across all levels of the organization
  • Manages all elements of events, including client communications, vendor relations, site logistics, inventory management, load-ins, and load-outs
  • Oversees the Events Calendar, encompassing Caruso Signature, Marketing, PR, and Sponsorship events and experiences
  • Facilitate event debriefings and recaps for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage departmental administrative tasks, such as invoice processing, contract billings, and expense tracking
  • Supports tenant-driven events, including new tenant grand openings across Caruso properties
  • Collaborate with SAE, Marketing & Property teams to plan and execute programming across properties
  • Develop and implement strategic event programs to drive traffic, sales, and KPIs
  • Measures event effectiveness, tracks ROI, and delivers comprehensive event recaps
  • Coordinates creative requests with in-house designers and oversee event budgets


MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in event production, logistics, and digital/PR/social media marketing
  • Strong creative, strategic, and client relationship skills
  • Ability to link creativity to strategy, demographics, research, and budgeting
  • Excellent leadership, multitasking, and time management abilities
  • Strong presentation and execution skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, CAD, CRM/SalesForce skills a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, events planning, or special events experience
