Become part of our team! We are seeking a Part-Time Cart Attendant for a private residential community and sporting club unlike any other. Mid-October through June
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Cart Staff assists in all areas when needed: Pro Shop, Practice Areas, Cart Barn, and Starter. Must be courteous and friendly to all employees, Members, and guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Set both practice areas.
- Stock water coolers at 1st & 10th tee, practice area and golf course w/ice and water.
- Ensure carts in the barn are cleaned and prepped for play.
- Be visible and on the lookout for members and guests at the 1st tee and at bag drop.
- Assist with play sheet and monitoring of 10th tee.
- Detail members’ personal carts and clean clubs prior to and after play.
- Attend to ALL member requests.
- Detail fleet carts thoroughly after each use.
- Remove trash.
- Check cart reservations and deliver carts when requested.
- Periodically check cart tire pressure and water levels in batteries
- Inventory fleet carts and club rentals at the end of day.
- May require adjusted work schedules to meet deadlines.
- Regular attendance and timeliness are required.
COMPETENCIES
- Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the position
- Knowledgeable of the game of golf
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written direction.
- Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with other employees and the public.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions for this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is continually active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Must frequently lift and/or move items over twenty-five pounds. Must have the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. Must be physically present.
