Job description

The Club at Eaglebrooke, located in Lakeland, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Cart Attendant/Outside Operations! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced, hospitality-focused organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot
  • Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings
  • Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning
  • Maintain the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area
  • Maintain the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition
  • Prepare golf carts for play following the standards of Troon
  • Assist in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth
  • Assist players by changing their golf spikes if needed
  • Perform range maintenance such as: presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids, and maintaining ball inventory over the course of the day
  • Direct start of play when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs
  • Service customers who are renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return
  • Assist with food and beverage activities
  • Clean golfers' clubs upon completion of play
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
  • Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; and six months to one year of customer service experience or training
Other Qualifications:
  • Regular and reliable attendance
