Gurley Leep is a family-owned automotive group that is always looking for talented people to join our team. We have 3 CARSTAR Collision Centers located in Elkhart, Mishawaka, and South Bend. We are seeking a full-time Body Shop Estimator to join our growing Collision Centers. This position requires knowledge of both structural and non-structural body repair, knowledge of automotive systems, sheet metal repair, and welded panel replacement.

Duties:

  • This position serves as a liaison between Insurance Companies and Clients.
  • Accurately assess collision damage, provide documentation, implement and follow process, accurately keep work files and paperwork updated, and provide strong communication to both customers and insurance providers
  • Estimators take ownership of the Customer's experience by carrying out additional assignments to leave a positive impression with the customer.
  • Estimators help distribute work between technicians and painters
  • Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience
  • Build strong, long lasting Insurance Company Relationships
