West CARSTAR Auto Body is currently seeking to hire an auto body Detailer.
The Detailer is responsible for pre-washing vehicles upon drop off, cleaning the inside of vehicles, and a final washing prior to delivering the customer vehicle. Responsible for keeping the office, bathrooms, shop, and shop lot clean. This involves, emptying trash, sweeping floors, breaking down boxes, using a weed whacker, disposal of damaged body panels, as well as assisting technicians when needed. Additional duties include occasionally helping with parts, dropping vehicles off at local sublet vendors, at times running customers home, amongst other random duties.
Required hours:
Monday -- Friday, 7:30 a.m. -- 5:30 p.m.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Prior knowledge of / experience in a collision repair center, or other automotive experience preferred
Skills & Abilities Requirements:
• Reliable work history, attendance and punctuality
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to receive direction and work well with others
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat and pull
• Ability to perform repetitive motions
• Must have valid driver's license
