Location: Port Orchard, WA
Pay: $22$25/hr flat rate DOE
Schedule: Full-time | MondayFriday 8am5pm



CARSTAR Murray's in Port Orchard is looking for an experienced Paint Technician to join our team. We're a family-owned, multi-location collision repair group with a reputation for quality work and a culture that takes care of its people. If you take pride in a flawless finish and want a steady, Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing all refinish procedures to OEM and factory specifications
  • Mixing, tinting, and matching paint colors using waterborne basecoat systems
  • Applying primer, sealer, base coat, and clear coat with precision
  • Sanding, masking, and prepping vehicles for refinishing
  • Monitoring paint inventory and keeping supplies organized and stocked
  • Maintaining the spray booth, equipment, and workspace to a high standard
  • Following all OSHA safety guidelines and using required PPE including respirator
  • Keeping the management system updated as vehicles move through the paint process
  • Attending daily production meetings


What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of automotive painting and refinishing experience required
  • Strong skills in color matching, blending, and topcoat application to OEM standards
  • I-CAR Platinum or ASE refinishing certification preferred
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
