We are looking for a Carrier Manager to join our team! Carrier Managers will assist the General
Manager with coaching and will provide direction for the Carrier Sales Representatives. They are
the middlemen that prospect, contract, secure, and establish relationships with carriers to move
truckload and LTL volumes of dry, refrigerated, and flatbed cargo. They provide a knowledge
base for all parties in the exchange of goods. Because of the nature of the job, Carrier Managers
are frequently required to make themselves available outside of regular work hours. Carrier
Managers will uphold the set processes, procedures, and protocols established to qualify and
match the correct carrier for a shipment based on the service required.
You Will:
  • Be responsible for developing and increasing profitable volume with existing and newly acquired carriers
  • Use strong relationships to understand carriers' business to qualify them better and gain knowledge of lanes serviced
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Contact and build relationships with carriers
  • Increase capacity for specific projects and lanes
  • Increase the overall capacity for the office and company
  • Update customers with critical information
  • Uphold the company standard following the company principles of Customer, Company, Office

Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 3 year's experience in Freight Brokerage/customer service
  • Excellent and effective communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic
  • Ability to quickly process information and make decisions
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills, and ability to handle conflict
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • College degree or equivalent experience highly desired
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
