THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a school-based assignment supporting students in Parker, AZ 85344. The position is based out of Lake Havasu City, AZ, with a carpool arrangement covering the 37-mile commute to the school site. The OT will deliver direct therapy services, conduct evaluations, and develop IEP-aligned treatment plans for paediatric students. This is a school-year contract (July–May) with relocation assistance considered for the ideal candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide occupational therapy services to paediatric students in a school-based setting
  • Conduct standardised evaluations and develop individualised treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams on student progress and care planning
  • Monitor and document student progress; adjust therapy plans as clinically indicated
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school, district, and state OT documentation requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

  • ★  Active Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) Licence — current and in good standing

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in paediatric or school-based occupational therapy settings preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation standards, and special education frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
