Job description

Position Summary
The Carpet/Warehouse Associate is responsible for processing our rental carpet. Sorting, cleaning, repairing, and measuring. This position ensures all materials leaving the facility are in an acceptable condition and meet the company standard.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist with loading and unloading incoming/outgoing carpet containers

· Ensures all efforts meet the quality requirements

· Maintain safe and clean work area

· Vacuum and shampoo carpet as needed

· Upkeep of vacuum equipment

· Roll and unroll carpet

· Size and tie carpet

· Keep inventory up to date

· Cut and trim carpet

· Hot steam carpet

· Measure using a 25’ – 100’ tape measure

Other Certifications Required or Desired

· Must pass drug screen and background

· Forklift experience is preferred

· Valid driver’s license CLASS E is required

Education

· Highschool Diploma or Equivalent required

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Experience & Skills

· Experience: 1–3 years of related hands-on experience in carpet cleaning, maintenance, and repair.

· Equipment Operation: Prior experience safely operating a forklift is preferred/required.

· Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to ensure punctual attendance.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role. Candidates must be capable of comfortably performing the following tasks:

· Strength: Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

· Mobility: Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

· Climbing: Ability to safely climb ladders and work at elevated heights.

· Dexterity: Capable of using hands and feet to operate heavy equipment and machinery.

· Vision & Hearing: Excellent spatial awareness, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment & Schedule

· Environment: Primarily based in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

· Availability: Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as required.

· Standard Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

· Flexibility: Work hours and daily shifts will vary based on show schedules and event demands.
