Carpenter: River Falls, Wisconsin
Our customer is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We're recruiting Carpenter to work full-time. As a Carpenter, you will assist in the construction, installation, repair, and replacement of structures and fixtures while working alongside experienced carpenters. This role requires the safe use of hand and power tools, material handling, and the ability to work in various environments, including elevated work areas.
Responsibilities of the Carpenter:
  • Perform interior and exterior wall framing and sheathing.
  • Install floor and roof trusses.
  • Frame floor joist systems.
  • Install floor and roof sheathing.
  • Install floor and roof hangers, hardware, wood blocking, and caulking.
  • Assist with installation of kitchen cabinets, countertops, windowsills, wood base, finish hardware, exterior siding, and trim.
  • Install and strip post-tension shoring systems.
  • Lay form plywood and install post-tension castings.
  • Utilize and expand rough and finish carpentry skills while assisting with advanced carpentry duties.
  • Understand, follow, and help enforce job site safety standards.
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned.
Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of carpentry experience required, 2 years preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions while unloading, organizing, stocking, and distributing rough carpentry materials.
  • Ability to stock cabinets, doors, trim materials, and assist with final cleanup tasks.
  • Ability to assist with post-tension shoring installation, stripping, and reshoring activities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of a team.
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable with strong attention to detail.
