Job description

Accepting Job Applicationsย for Finish Carpenter Helper. Will train. Job will include 90-day trial period. Must be able to pass Drug Test, have Driver's License and Reliable Transportation. Background check is required and will be a factor in determining position. Past Job References are of benefit. Must be available for Saturdays/Overtime if needed. Job Description Includes:ย Jobs include but are not limited to -

  • Hardie board siding, metal siding, tongue and groove ceilings, flooring installation, etc. Most work includes Hardie Board Siding Installation of New Construction Homes.
  • Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials weighing up to 50lbs or more and work in outside all-weather conditions.

Limited paid holidays Include:ย Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, 1 Week Paid Vacation a year

Duties

  • Assist lead carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to blueprints and schematics
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively across multiple job sites
  • Support the installation of doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and flooring with precision
  • Perform general site cleanup, material handling, and equipment setup to maintain a safe work environment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution
  • Contribute to construction inspection processes by ensuring work meets safety standards and specifications
  • Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, restoration efforts, and hardscape installations

Requirements

  • Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of carpentry techniques and safety protocols
  • Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws)
  • Knowledge of construction management practices and estimation processes is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning and safety compliance
