MRO STOREROOM TECHNICIAN- Technician 1-MRO Storeroom (11 Hourly) Loyal Parker

POSITION SUMMARY -Provides daily support for MRO Storeroom functions,to includegeneral warehousing duties and supply of material items for Athens Operations plant personnel.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Receive Freight and Non-Freight Vendor deliveries; includes unloading material, checking all documentation received from drivers (packing slips, bills of lading, etc.) and inspecting material for damages.

  • Receive material into MRO Stores inventory, logging received material into daily log sheets, filing requireddocumentationand placing material into designated storagelocationasrequired.

  • Compareidentifyinginformation and counts, weighs, ormeasuresitems of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

  • Deliver material todesignateddelivery point, ensuring that all receipts aresigned forin accordance withStandard Operating Procedures.

  • Supply MRO Supervisor with reports for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to include (but not limited to: Outbound shipments, stock-outs, deliveries, pickups, backorders, Good Receipts, and Pick Tickets.

  • Strict compliance with all Corporate, State and Federal guidelinesin regards toall receipts, bills of lading and any other documents or document control procedures asrequired.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of experience, preferable in a manufacturing inventory control environment.

  • Basic mathematical skills to perform inventory control procedures.

  • Elementary knowledge ofstore roommethods and procedures, shipmentmethodsand the ability to keep simple receiving and shipping records.

  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office & capable of updating computer generated inventories and documents,Enterpurchase order receipts into computersystemand print receiving tags.

  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent problem solving and interpersonalskillsand attention to detail/accuracy.
