Ormière Manor Manoir de l'Ormière is a private seniors' residence offering a warm, safe, and caring living environment. Respect, teamwork, and commitment are at the heart of our daily life. We are currently looking for a maintenance worker to complete our team. Job summary: Under the supervision of management and the maintenance manager, the incumbent ensures the general proper functioning of the building and participates in the preventive and corrective maintenance of the Manor's facilities. The ideal candidate is resourceful, versatile, and enjoys working in a supportive environment with senior citizens. Main tasks: Perform various general building maintenance tasks; Carry out minor repairs in apartments and common areas; Participate in the preventive maintenance of equipment; Perform painting, light plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance work; Ensure the cleanliness and safety of outdoor areas; Participate in the setup and teardown during activities or events; Collaborating with different departments to ensure a safe and pleasant living environment for residents; Respond to residents' service requests with courtesy and professionalism; Perform all other related maintenance tasks. Working hours: Full-time position; Daytime hours; One weekend out of two on call; Start date: immediately. Requirements and qualifications: Experience in general building maintenance (an asset); Versatility and autonomy; Good organizational skills; Ability to work in a team; Concern for customer service and a respectful attitude towards residents; Valid driver's license (an asset).
