Carpenter

Perform finish and trim carpentry according to plans and specifications, measure, cut, and install base and casing, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, siding, flooring, etc., design, build, and install cabinets for new and refurbished homes/offices, erect scaffolding or ladders as needed, collaborate with other carpenters, craftsmen, and subcontractors to complete projects, troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment, follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite, organize equipment within the warehouse, monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs/concerns to ensure customer needs are met.

High school diploma/GED, effective verbal communication, basic math skills, strong attention to detail, blueprint reading skills, able to use common hand and power tools, must have own trade tools, IICRC certifications preferred, experience with new construction and/or remodels preferred, but not required, previous estimating and material ordering experience preferred, but not required, ability to travel locally, ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen, must possess a valid driver's license.

Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, exposure to chemicals, walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing, ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights, ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings), repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects.

Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
