The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Food Equipment, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures to ensure operational efficiency and safety. This role requires diagnosing issues, utilizing multiple craft skills, and managing maintenance schedules and documentation. The technician supports emergency response efforts, coordinates with contractors, and adheres to regulatory standards. By maintaining equipment and facilities in compliance with company policies and safety regulations, this position contributes to sustaining a reliable and safe work environment aligned with organizational values and operational goals.

The Facilities Maintenance team manages HVACR operations by coordinating resources and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards. They collaborate to troubleshoot, repair, and enhance refrigeration and HVAC systems while overseeing inventory and vendor relations. Committed to operational excellence, the team supports continuous learning to address evolving challenges effectively. What you'll do:
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures following established schedules and guidelines.
  • Inspect, clean, and test equipment to diagnose issues and determine replacement needs to minimize future repairs.
  • Utilize multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to complete major and minor repairs.
  • Operate heavy machinery and powered equipment safely, conducting pre- and post-operation inspections.
  • Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts ordering, and documentation accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while supporting safe operations.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations as required.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on food equipment and facility systems using multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Ability to inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment issues using blueprints, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
  • Skilled in operating heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts procurement, and documentation accurately.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with contractors and internal partners.
