Lead Carpenter / Site Lead

High-End Residential Remodeling
Bashaw Valley Remodeling – Northwest Wisconsin (Shell Lake, WI)

Bashaw Valley Remodeling is a small, owner-led residential remodeling company focused on high-quality, detail-driven work. We specialize in additions, kitchens, and exterior projects where craftsmanship and professionalism matter.

We are not a production or “fast and cheap” contractor. Our work is planned, executed cleanly, and built to last.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Carpenter / Site Lead to work directly with the owner on residential remodeling projects. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, quality, and maintaining a professional jobsite.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality carpentry work (framing, siding, trim, window/door installs, etc.)
  • Work alongside the owner on layout, sequencing, and project execution
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
  • Identify issues early and communicate clearly
  • Represent the company professionally in clients’ homes

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of residential carpentry experience
  • Strong understanding of framing, exterior work, and finish carpentry
  • Ability to work independently with direction
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality

  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
