Job description

Experienced Remodel Carpenter

Agility Handyman Service LLC is hiring an experienced carpenter to join our residential remodeling team. We work primarily in Ozaukee, Milwaukee, and Washington counties.

This is a hands-on carpenter position—not a crew-lead or office-management role. We need someone dependable who can complete quality remodeling work, solve normal jobsite problems, and work effectively with a small team.

Typical Work

  • Bathroom and basement remodeling
  • Framing and drywall
  • Doors, windows, trim, and cabinetry
  • LVP and tile flooring
  • Tub and shower surrounds
  • Deck and exterior carpentry
  • Punch-list and repair work
  • Jobsite protection, demolition, and cleanup

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of professional carpentry or remodeling experience
  • Broad residential remodeling skills
  • Ability to work independently after receiving a clear scope
  • Strong attention to finish quality
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
  • Reliable attendance and consistent on-time arrival
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • Ability to safely lift and carry construction materials
  • Basic hand tools appropriate for the position

Experience with tile, drywall finishing, cabinetry, plumbing, or electrical work is helpful but not required. Licensed subcontractors handle most specialty plumbing and electrical work.

What We Offer

  • Full-time, year-round work
  • Competitive hourly pay based on demonstrated experience
  • Paid holidays
  • Consistent local projects with limited travel
  • Company vehicles and major tools provided as appropriate
  • Opportunity to expand your remodeling skills
  • Small-company environment where quality work is noticed

Schedule

Monday through Friday, generally during normal daytime construction hours. Occasional schedule adjustments may be necessary based on project requirements.

Hiring Process

Qualified applicants will complete an initial interview followed by a paid working interview. The working interview allows both sides to evaluate skill level, work habits, communication, and overall fit.

To apply, send:

  • Your name and phone number
  • A brief description of your remodeling experience
  • Your expected hourly pay
  • Photos of completed work, if available
  • Confirmation that you have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Agility Handyman Service LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
