ASSISTANT CARPENTER/HELPERย ย 
Thames Shipyard and Repair is looking for a reliable, hard working carpenter to work at one of the largest commercial ship repair facilities between New York and Boston.ย  Willing to train the right person.ย ย 
Work Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm
  • Saturday 6:30am-12:00pm
  • Additional overtime available Monday-Saturdayย 
  • Double time available Sunday
Responsibilities:
  • General carpentry
  • Working from scissor and boom lifts
  • Working in confined spaces with limited access throughย eighteen inch hatch
  • Climbing ladders
  • Heavy lifting, able to lift at least 50 pounds
Requirements
  • Pre-employment drug test
  • Respirator fit test and physical
  • Willing and able to workย outside year round and in all weather conditions
  • Must have reliable transportation
