Job Summary

A Craftsman Service is seeking a motivated and reliable Carpenter Helper to assist in residential home improvement, repair, and carpentry projects. You will work directly with the owner, Christopher Farley, helping to ensure high-quality craftsmanship on every job—from small handyman repairs to custom carpentry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in the trades while earning a competitive wage.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Site Preparation & Cleanup: Set up job sites with necessary tools and materials; maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the day.

  • Assistance with Carpentry: Help with the installation of trim, cabinets, flooring, and framing. Hold materials in place for fastening or cutting.

  • Tool & Material Handling: Select and transport tools (drills, saws, levels) and materials (lumber, hardware) to and from the work vehicle.

  • Basic Measurements: Perform simple measurements and mark reference points on materials under direction.

  • General Labor: Assist with demolition, loading/unloading trucks, and applying adhesives or protective coverings.

  • Client Professionalism: Represent A Craftsman Service with a polite, professional attitude while working in clients' homes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
