MedSurg + ER.  Day or night shifts available.  Full-time, part-time, or PRN.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current state Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • ACLS, PALS, TNCC, STABLE and BLS certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides professional nursing care to the Medical Surgical, and Emergency room departments.
  • Assists physicians during treatments and examinations of patients.
  • Administers medications per physician order.
  • Performs other therapeutic measures either per physician order or as an independent nursing function.
  • Observes, records and reports as appropriate the symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients.
  • Provides patient education on illness management, disease prevention, and health promotion.
  • Communicates with physicians, Mid-level Providers, Nurse Manager, co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
  • Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • Able to perform general nursing duties in all nursing departments with adequate supervision.
  • Able to respond to on-call situations and is expected to be available for on-call schedules. If requested, must be willing to take low census.
