As a Board Certified Gastroenterologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive locum tenens coverage for our practice. The orientation process begins early on Friday, ensuring a seamless transition, with the official start date on Monday. Joining a call rotation with three other experienced Gastroenterologists, you will contribute to delivering exceptional care to our diverse patient population.

Coverage Details:

  • Start Date: Immediate start upon credentialing, with ongoing coverage during the recruitment phase.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, operating from 7:30 am to 5 pm.
  • Procedures: Focus on outpatient procedures conducted in the hospital's Endo Lab, maintaining a balance of 40% Outpatient and 60% Inpatient distribution.
  • Patient Volume: An average of 20 patients per day, providing a meaningful and manageable workload.
  • Certifications Required: BLS & ACLS, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety.
  • Collaborative Opportunity: Work alongside current gastroenterology fellows, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Required Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, Flex-Sig, & PEG placement, showcasing your proficiency in a range of gastroenterological interventions.
