We have an exciting opportunity to join our hotel team as a Room Attendant. The room attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to ensure they are clean, tidy, andwell-stocked. Key duties include cleaning and sanitizing rooms, changing linens, restocking amenities like soap and towels, and emptying trash. They also report maintenance issues, respond to guest requests, and must adhere to hotel policies regarding cleanliness and guest privacy.

Key responsibilities

  • Cleaning and sanitizing: This includes vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sanitizing bathrooms, cleaning windows, and ensuring all surfaces are clean.
  • Bed and linen care: Making beds and replacing used sheets and towels with fresh ones.
  • Restocking supplies: Replenishing guest rooms with amenities such as toiletries, coffee, tea, and snacks.
  • Trash removal: Emptying trash cans and removing any other refuse from rooms.
  • Maintenance and reporting: Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or missing items to supervisors.
  • Guest services: Responding to guest requests and questions in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintaining order: Keeping common areas, like hallways and stairways, clean and clear of obstructions.
  • Adhering to standards: Following established procedures for cleaning, handling laundry, and maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Privacy and security: Upholding guest privacy and security at all times.

Prior hotel or similar industry experience required.
