The Rooms Inventory Manager oversees the daily operations of the reservations department to ensure efficient booking processes, maximize room revenue, and deliver exceptional guest service. This role is responsible for managing reservation systems, coordinating with sales and front office teams, monitoring inventory and rates, and leading the reservations team to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.


  • Support the daily operations of the Revenue and Sales office by ensuring efficient administrative processes, organization, and communication across departments.
  • Answer and respond promptly and professionally to telephone calls, emails, mail correspondence, and guest, client, or employee inquiries.
  • Maintain complete proficiency in all PMS systems and reservation platforms, including Opera, SynXis, and other hotel systems as required.
  • Review arrivals reports, reservation logs, guest request logs, and group block information daily to ensure accuracy and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate and communicate inventory availability, suite controls, closeouts, and group updates with wholesalers, travel partners, and internal departments.
  • Conduct quality assurance test calls and support adherence to hotel service standards, reservation procedures, and rate quoting standards.
  • Maximize room revenue, occupancy, and rate integrity by supporting Revenue Strategy initiatives and pricing guidelines established by the revenue team.
  • Maximize room revenue through effective upselling, cross-selling, and room category conversion strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to convert guests from standard room categories into premium bungalow accommodations.
  • Monitor inventory availability and support inventory management strategies for bungalow accommodations and other premium room categories.
  • Ensure wholesaler allotments, contracted inventory, and group room blocks are managed accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle wholesaler requests and bookings while maintaining rate integrity and inventory controls.
  • Attend and participate in Revenue Strategy, Sales, departmental meetings, and training sessions as required.
  • Serve as the property's subject matter expert for all Bungalow accommodations, including layouts, locations, views, bedding configurations, amenities, and unique features.
  • Consult with guests to recommend the most suitable bungalow accommodation based on travel needs, family composition, special occasions, and guest preferences.
  • Educate guests on the benefits and unique experiences offered by the bungalows to increase guest satisfaction and premium room conversion.
  • Conduct proactive pre-arrival outreach to bungalow guests to identify preferences, special occasions, arrival needs, and opportunities to personalize their stay.
  • Build meaningful guest relationships and create memorable experiences that drive guest loyalty and repeat visits.
  • Maintain detailed guest preference profiles to support personalized service and recognition.
  • Monitor and coordinate VIP arrivals, amenities, special requests, group arrangements, and corporate-sponsored programs to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Coordinate special requests, celebrations, in-room amenities, dining reservations, activities, and other customized guest arrangements.
  • Review upcoming bungalow arrivals and ensure all guest preferences and requests are communicated effectively with operational departments.
  • Act as a liaison between guests and Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of guest requests.
  • Support service recovery efforts and promptly address guest concerns to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

  •  Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in hotel reservations, front office, or revenue management.
  •  Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  •  Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems and property management software.
  •  Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  •  Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
