Job description

We are looking for an immediate long-term contract opening for a Cargo Warehouse/Forklift Operator in Atlanta,GA for our client in a Cargo facility. We are looking for ambitious & detail-oriented individuals to perform faced paced warehouse cargo work, under supervision.


Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload cargo on aircraft/Trucks

  • Performs duties on the runway/warehouse based on the needs of the client you are assigned

  • Operate Forklift

  • Tie Down Pallets

  • Build Pallets

  • Connect and operate ground support equipment

  • Communicate effectively with all teammates and other runway personnel


Minimum Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. 

  • Frequently moves cargo in the warehouse weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the warehouse and office to access cargo shipments and airwaybills.


Work Environment:

  • Sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures. 

  • Occasionally work in extremely bright or dim lighting conditions.

  • Workspaces may not be temperature-controlled.

  • Work near/ share same workspace with others.

  • Often work indoors but may sometimes work outdoors. 


Requirements:

  • Education: GED/High School desired Experience


Shift hours:

Operation-Monday to Sunday

6 AM to 2:30 PM

10 AM to 6:30 PM

2 PM to 10:30 PM

6 PM to 2:30 AM

10 PM to 6:30 AM

Need to be flexible working different shifts
