Job Summary

This role is responsible for streamlining all aspects of the cargo  transportation process, preparing the safest and most efficient method of loading the aircraft.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures that all cargo is safely loaded onto the aircraft in the most efficient manner.
  • Creates load plans that minimize shipping time, expedite routes, and maximize loads for cargo transport.
  • Prepares and enters appropriate loading instructions and manifests in software system.
  • Files all post-departure paperwork.
  • Problem Analysis: The ability to detect problems, recognize important information, and link various data; to trace potential causes and look for relevant details.
  • Situation awareness: Has and gains insight into situations, problems and processes.
  • Deconstructs problems and systematically investigates the various components. Has a complete picture of the context and overview of the whole problem.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work effectively with others in order to achieve a shared goal - even when the object at stake is of no direct personal interest.
  • Written Expression: The ability to express ideas and views clearly to others in writing.
Minimum Requirements
  • Load Planner/Weight and Balance Certification
  • TSA - Cargo Security Awareness
  • TSA - Acceptance
