Job description

The Wyler Collection Dublin, Ohio is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver!!
We are seeking a safety-conscious, reliable, and experienced Class A CDL Driver to transport automotive parts, components, and materials to our manufacturing plants and customer facilities. The driver will manage the truck to ensure on-time deliveries, adhere to all safety regulations, and maintain a clean driving record.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Transport Components: Safely operate a tractor-trailer (GVW over 26,000 lbs) to deliver automotive parts.
  • Load Securement: Properly secure cargo using straps, chains, and binders to prevent damage during transit.
  • Route Planning: Utilize GPS and routing software to follow schedules, manage time, and meet deadlines, including in heavy traffic.
  • Inspections: Conduct pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
  • Documentation: Accurately maintain electronic logs (ELD), mileage reports, and bills of lading.
  • Efficiency: Perform local or regional runs, adhering to DOT hours-of-service regulations.

Qualifications
  • License: Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Experience: 3-4 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
  • Safety Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or reckless driving in the last 3-7 years.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75-80 pounds occasionally and secure loads.
  • Requirements: Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
