Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
  • All security officers will be screening cargo using various screening methods
  • All security officers shall inspect everyone's credentials before allowing them into the warehouse, and there will be positions in which the security officer shall have to take inventory of equipment that we have here in the warehouse.
  • Candidates must be willing to work any schedule with the possibility of alternating shifts.
  • Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
  • Complete forms and documents and prepare daily reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
  • Answer questions and assist passengers and employees.
  • Remain flexible to ever-changing environments; adapt well to different situations.
  • Perform air-side driving and escort
  • Other tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a valid Security D License
  • Must have a valid Driver License
  • All Security Officers must be U.S Citizen
EXPERIENCE and/or KNOWLEDGE
  • Must have security experience or demonstrated relevant skills
SKILL and/or ABILITIES
  • Ability to speak and understand English professionally
  • Must be able to pass all pre-requisites to obtain SIDA badge
  • Must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen prior to employment
  • Ability to work in a teamwork environment and delegate tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Must be professional appearance and adhere to company grooming/uniform policy
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends, and be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • Requires flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed during irregular operations.
