Shifts Available
We offer part-time caregiver jobs and full-time caregiver jobs with flexible schedules, including:
  • Day Shifts: 7 am-3 pm, 8 am- 4 pm, 9 am- 5 pm
  • Morning shifts: 8 am-12 pm, 9 am-1 pm, 10 am-2 pm
  • Afternoon/evening shifts: 1 pm-5 pm, 2 pm-6 pm, 3 pm-7 pm, 4 pm-8 pm, 5 pm-9 pm, 6 pm-10 pm
  • Overnight shifts: 7 pm-7 am, 8 pm-8 am
  • Extended day shifts: 7 am-7 pm, 8 am-8 pm

Caregiver Responsibilities
As a caregiver with Senior Helpers, you will:
  • Provide companion care: conversation, activities, walks, and engagement
  • Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility support
  • Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation
  • Give medication reminders and keep daily care logs
  • Provide specialized senior care for clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, or hospice needs
  • Safely use assistive equipment: Hoyer lifts, gait belts, transfer boards, and wheelchairs

Caregiver Pay & Benefits
  • $18 to $22 per hour, paid biweekly.

Caregiver Requirements
  • Compassion and patience: You genuinely enjoy helping seniors and making a difference in their lives
  • Reliable and responsible: Consistently punctual with dependable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
  • Professional or family/friend caregiver experience: Prior caregiving experience is a plus but not required
  • Physical ability: Able to safely assist with mobility, transfers, and use of assistive equipment (Hoyer lifts, gait belts, wheelchairs, etc.)
  • Able to push/ pull up to 50 pounds and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Communication skills: Clear, respectful, and able to document care accurately via Wellsky Personal Care app
  • Background check and drug screening: Must pass all pre-employment screenings
  • Licenses/Certifications (preferred): CNA, HHA, or other relevant certifications a plus, but not required
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and some weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
