    Oncology Practice Enablement Clinician Senior

    Field: This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training.     TheOncology Practice Enablement Clinician Senior serves a senior clinical leader to deliver consistent, high-quality support to oncology practices and members. This role serves as a clinical SME for the Carelon's Oncology suite of solutions and the Total Cost of Care (TCOC) oncology model, including Oncology Medical Home and non-value-based arrangements. Translate performance reporting and analytics, including the Carelon Provider Dashboard, into scalable tools, guidance, and practice transformation approaches, while also contributing to solution strategy, provider engagement design, and leading multiple project-based work.
    How you will make an impact:

    • Serve as clinical SME for operational team members
    • Mentor and support fellow OPECs clinicians through coaching, best-practice sharing, and issue escalation support.
    • Practice partnership & enablement: Serve as primary clinical point of contact for oncology practices; build trusted partnerships to enable Value Based Network/Total Cost Of Care program success and adoption of Carelon's Oncology solutions.
    • Assess practice workflows and facilitate recurring meetings to drive progress on quality measures and cost-of-care performance
    • Translate insights into practical, practice-ready actions.
    • Review and interpret performance reporting/analytics (including the Carelon Provider Dashboard)
    • Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities; prepare and present quarterly Joint Operations Committee updates.
    • Participate in identifying new solutions.
    • Collect and synthesize feedback from clinician's OPECs to identify practice trends, improve existing solutions, and inform new solution design.
    • Serve in a leadership capacity by leading special projects/initiatives
    • Support leadership as SMEs on strategic initiatives based on clinical expertise.
    • Schedule/host educational sessions for the Provider Enablement team.
    • Seek out continuing education opportunities and oncology subspecialty resources to build internal capability.
    • Serve as a liaison between internal teams, solutions, and initiatives.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for cross-functional collaboration.
    • Support management in tracking initiatives, solutions, and project-based work.
    • Develops executive-ready analyses and polished provider-facing materials, using Microsoft applications to include (but not limited to) Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Create publication-quality, brand-aligned collateral that supports efficient marketing and legal review while maintaining strong attention to formatting, version control, and accuracy.


    Minimum Requirements: Requires BA/BS in Nursing, Pharmacy or Pharm D or MS in Social Work and a minimum of 7 years of experience in oncology, palliative care, medical management, care management, value-based care, or quality improvement; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Current, valid, active unrestricted license (RN, NP, PA, or RPh, MSW or LCSW) in applicable state(s) or territory of the United States required. For URAC accredited areas, the following professional competencies apply. OCN/NP
    Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

    • Experience in oncology preferred.
    • Oncology practice leadership preferred.
    • Experience leading Value Based Care initiatives preferred.

    For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $112,880 to $203,184
