What You Will Do

  • Develop strategic sales plans specific to individual clients to identify opportunities to grow the sales pipeline.
  • Develop leads for new hospital pharmacy management agreements in the CompleteRx target market.
  • Develop and deliver hospital-specific presentations and proposals to prospective hospital clients and their board of directors.
  • Identify new business opportunities with potential and existing clients.
  • Analyze sales territory including competition, opportunities, and difficulties.
  • Heavy cold calling, prospecting, and follow-up.
  • Deliver weekly sales reports to the CompleteRx Executive Leadership Team.
  • Participate in weekly, quarterly, and annual staff meetings.
  • Participate in related marketing campaigns and projects.
  • Attend relevant industry trade shows and conventions.
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers and potential customers.
  • Effectively communicate company services and benefits to prospective clients.
  • Plan and prepare company proposals utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Possess knowledge of the acute care hospital market.
  • Quickly learn the details of our business sufficient to drive client interest, grow pipeline, and close sales.
  • Travel up to 20% with overnight stays.

What You Will Need

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience in hospital service sales with C-suite or VP-level hospital administrators.
  • Proven success/experience in selling a service.
  • Proven experience in hospital lead generation and successful closing of long-term hospital contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelors degree in business field from an accredited university/college preferably Sales and Marketing.
